Odisha Style, Bhubaneswar: Rameshwar Temple

This 13th c temple is located across the road from the much earlier Shatrughaneshwar group of temples (7th c). The mandap is detached from the sanctuary structure, and both have their own entrances that face each other, creating a small court in between. The sanctum walls are devoid of sculpture except for the main niches and around the entrance to the sanctum.
